FIGHT ON

The FCC voted to get rid of Net Neutrality, the votes were cast and it was 2-3. We have lost the battle.

Now I'm not American, I'm British but this still draws a lot of concern for me. The British and the Americans have a close relationship as Allies, I can expect my country to somewhat stay close to America.

Do not think this is the end, a lot of people are doomsaying right now and it's not accurate.

You have 3 sections of government to go through to get this stomped out from being repealed. You have the Senate, which was what was voted on today, you have the courts, and the congressmen to go through as well.

The court system is next, which is supreme court, and this could take months/years to go through, then you have Congress to vote and put laws into action or repeal laws such as the one being represented to Congress to keep Net Neutrality in all it's glory.

Just because the FCC voted on this and won this battle, the war overall is far from over, December 14th is basically the start of an uphill battle for the FCC, albeit they won the first vote, but that doesn't mean they will win the courts/congress approval. This car ain't outta gas yet! Keep fighting the good fight. P.S The Repeal of Net Neutrality has to be registered through the government which by itself there is tons of paperwork and a lot of time for us to convince our congress and justices representing the courts to rule against this. - Not my own words a reddit user called kanomas I suck at words.

Both passionate and powerful speeches, now I would take what Ajit Pai said at 25:50 as insulting and unprofessional.

Now I could go on about how lots of congressmen received donations from ISPs or how Pai has a punchable face. All I ask is that you watch that vote today, take an hour and a half or so of your time with an open mind. Pretend you don't have a view and look at who is standing for what.

I don't know much about American legal system, or my own legal system. I'm not a smart man, but I believe I can judge who has my best interests at heart. Those two, Clyburn and Rosenworcel, I believe have your best interests at heart.
