Reddit user is breaking down exactly how the text exchange demonstrates explicit "quid pro quo" (literally "something for something," or "a favor or advantage granted or expected in return for something").

Theres already an overwhelming amount of evidence of abuse of his office for personal gain. Quid-pro-quo would just be icing on the cake
