Almost ready to fly! The baby birbs are still here today... but they will be gone at any minute! Baby robins typically fledge around 12-14 days old.

This is an American Robin's nest on our front porch in Massachusetts, U.S. Last year a robin built a nest on our porch, so we installed a blink security camera next to the nest. She and her mate successfully raised 4 baby birbs. This year we were thrilled to see them come back! The security camera is back in place and I am posting daily updates. :)

Snack with dad... look at all that plumage and they're orange speckled coloring. This is classic juvenile robin coloring... you may not realize when you see them in your yard that you are looking at a robin!

Flying practice and some head scritches. So cute.

Snack followed by some stretching in the nest

More stretching. Going to miss these cute guys!

They are getting ready , so cute ! Got a nest here too, so much beeping and birb flying in and out! Sadly it is in a high hidden spot.

Can you imagine kicking your newborn out after 2 weeks? Like “fuck off freeloader!”

"Snack followed by some stretching in the nest" -- Did daddy just pick up feces from one of the fletchlings?

Yes, that's how they do it! Keeps the nest clean. They also often eat it. Super gross.
