Nylons and tights are very warm and can serve as impromptu long underwear

This sounds dumb but I use this trick in WI winters when I have to go out in 10 or 20 below weather. I also will wear two pairs of nylons if I'm wearing skirts or dresses in the cold (like when it's 20 degrees on Halloween). I also regularly wear leggings and jeans together all winter.

Side note: fluffy fleece pajama pants also work as impromptu snow pants because the snow falls right off

Rub a bit of chili on your testies/taint and feel warm for the rest of your life.

I mean, this is a secret? “Hey everyone, turns out that if you layer your clothes, you stay warm. Weird, right?”

OP has discovered the true wisdom of ancient man, who figured this out somewhere around 10,000-20,000 years ago.

Well yeah but different fabrics work better than others. Nylons tend to be much warmer than denim or fleece for instance.

Ok, I’ll give it to you based on fabric selection. And as a dude I woulda never known about nylons. +1

I was surprised when a friend from brazil told me she was sick a lot after moving to austria because she didn't know what a hair dryer is.

Not everyone has them especially people from areas that are having abnormally cold weather right now.

People in areas that rarely have cold weather might not know. Also, I'm no fashion police, but skirt and long johns?
