My great Uncle circa 1930 at about 15 years old. His name was Golden. Often called Goldie or Gold.
My grandma and grandpa around 1930. Juanita Lee and Oddie. Ode was his nickname. She was living in Elma, WA. Grandpa and his brother Goldie took the train to Elma, to move in with family as the depression raged. Grandma was on the platform to meet a friend arriving. Grandpa spied Juanita from inside the passenger rail car and jabbed his brother saying, ‘See that girl? I’m going to marry her.” Two years later, he did.
Grandma Juanita Lee 1931 (?Fourth of July? The flags behind the windshield makes me think it could be?). I can’t make out what’s written up top on the photo. Edit: car was identified as a 1925 Maxwell Standard Sedan.
Juanita Lee, three years old, in 1917. Assumed the flag waving might be a nod to WWI.
Grandma and grandpa shortly after WWII. Late 1940s(edit: most likely late 1950s I’ve been told). I was taken aback when I found this one. Have it on an old faded slide, but had never seen the actual photo. It’s my favorite pic of them. She rarely smiled for the camera. This is how I remember her. She was a tough old bird, maiden name Byrd! But she was always happy to spend time with her grandkids ❤️

Boy people aged different back then, She would have been 30 in 1944. A pic from late 40's would put her at between 32-37.

I'm thinking the date of that last one is wrong. The GPs look to be in their 50s here. Also, the colour quality of that photo isn't 1940s.
