It is literally so beyond my ability to comprehend how any person can even think about touching a child in that manor, and it puts a rage in me. You operate through life on the assumption that everyone you meet and interact with are good, decent, honest folk. Bit the older you get the more that assumption gets chipped away at. You realize the monsters aren't under your bed or in the closet. They're all around you, and they look like you, not like beasts.

If proven guilty then of course you should treat him as he has committed a crime against society as well as the direct victim. But until then he is supposed to be considered innocent. This type of pre judging is exactly what the Justice system is in place to prevent
