I bought gel caps and a pill popper to make it easier, put the pill in the gel cap, cap in popper, dip in water then into the cat.

See if there is a liquid version of the medication available. Add it to their food, or squirt it into their mouth.

Cut it up as small as possible and spread it through wet cat food, either at dinner or as a treat.

I go the "Shock and Aw" approach. Offer food, when the cat goes for it, scruff, slight lift, pop that bad boy, drop. Works most of the time.

See if your vet can get the drug compounded into a transdermal gel that you simply apply to the ear flap (not down in ears). Much easier!

There are things that help - one trade name is Easy Pill Cat. A sachet is usually good for 4 to 6 servings, so you can use a few duds first

I used to use tablet syringe, if cat objects, it is getting wrapped into big towel. Syringe need a little training to not damage the cat
