Math is a beautiful thing. 41.61 degrees and 48.39 degrees give or take a bit.
The legs. And mine, I guess.
Dead spider version of the table. And my messy basement.
The finished product. Happy wife happy life. After about 5 months of building in my minimal spare time... But we don't need to talk about that part.

I want a friend/husband/roommate to build stuff with. The hope has been killing me since I was young. Not sure how much longer I will last.

Might I suggest community build events like habitat for humanity or similar? Maybe not the typical place to scope out a friend/husband/roommate, but you'd be doing some good, building for free, and meeting people who are into building.

Everyone gets their knees smashed.
Porcus8
Thankfully not! I measured everything out so her knees are below the wood support perimeter. Hasn't been a problem in reality either.

Is the table top one solid piece?

I do believe that is a 4' x 8' sheet of 3/4" particle board with a veneer on it.
Porcus8
That's exactly what it is. And turns out a 4x8 sheet of melamine veneer particle board is actually 97x49 inches. That caused a panic until I measured out the board. I thought I lost an inch in the frame somewhere.
