How have I not heard that name yet? That's pure gold! Well, shitty stainless steel, maybe.

Deplorian or Incel Camino are the only 2 names I'll acknowledge this thing as.

2 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Deplorean it is.

2 years ago | Likes 282 Dislikes 1

Or Wankpanzer.

2 years ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 0

Incel Camino is still the best.

The iconic car from 'Back to the Past', a modern cult classic among the far-right, starring Kevin Sorbo. On its opening weekend alone the movie has drawn double-digit audiences, and made almost three hundred dollars and half a can of Sprite.

There's a good reason for the moniker

Nazi hat in a car made by a company with a Nazi owner. Fitting

2 years ago | Likes 19 Dislikes 0

All of it produced in China. Where no american can ever see a dollar for the labor.

2 years ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 0

As in like a DeLorean but more deplorable?

2 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

Yes, well done.

2 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

That's an insult to Deloreans....

2 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Wankpanzer

2 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 1

Oh, better start calling them doucheloreans then.

2 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Does he prefer wankpanzer?

2 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

I saw one in the wild yesterday. What a piece of junk. And I don't mean like the Millennium Falcon was a "piece of junk", i mean it was garbage on wheels.

2 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

WankPanzer™ also acceptable.

Deplorean?

I actually would love to see some of the earlier concepts before this one became the final. Like what did they throw away to get to THIS

nevermind, I googled it. they are worse than I would have thought

I thought it was called safety recall waiting to happen

2 years ago | Likes 8 Dislikes 0

So far it has had at least 4 recalls, 1 of which is safety related (the gas pedal cover is known to come loose and wedge in a position where the vehicle is at full throttle...)

2 years ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 0

Why no "Deplorelon"

2 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

Oh no. A famous person telling the internet not to do something. That will never have unforeseen consequences.

2 years ago | Likes 6 Dislikes 0

I'm still convinced that Elon saw 'Total Recall' in 1990 and thought those cars were super cool.
Unfortunately he's such a shitty designer he could only make a "Total product recall" vehicle.

2 years ago | Likes 98 Dislikes 0

Uh... No.

He literally saw a dumpster and was like, "IT NEEDS WHEELS".

2 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

Those look better

2 years ago | Likes 7 Dislikes 0

I agree and I think the blade runner cars too.

I have a theory that the Tesla engineers let Elon go wild on the cybertruck so he wouldn't bother them with "suggestions" for their standard model cars such as the 3 and the X.
According to insiders, a culture developed in Tesla of being able to manage Elon, with people who would keep him from Fucking things up by playing him. And Twitter didn't have that team pre-existing, so Elon went wild on them.
One Tesla computer supervisor would just run the Matrix green characters as a screensaver..

As a designer part of me wants to say “HEY hold on a minute, Leon didn’t actually design that thing!” But he also didn’t cofound Tesla, he didn’t engineer any SpaceC rockets, he didn’t do anything positive whatsoever with Twitter, let alone CEO it.

You’re right, Lone Skum is a shitty designer.

Rubber Johnny Cab is a good name for a cybertruck.

The UK approves of this in particular

2 years ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 0

Many of the Total Recall vehicles were 1970s 'kit cars,' where you bought a set of plans and built a new body on a VW microbus or whatever.

I was noting it was funny the other day that all the cars in Demolition Man were GM prototypes for future cars...but they came from the past.

I must assume so although I have no idea.

In fairness, that bumper ripping off was because just before that they accidentally had the full weight of the truck push on it after driving over a curb. It crached it since its only supposed to be able to aupport ~1100 "tounge weight", so the full weight of the truck broke it.

2 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 1

Not an excuse. They drop a F150 30+ times directly on the hitch, bending the frame. Hitch stayed in place. The picked up the WHOLE ASS F150 by the hitch. Stayed in place. They smashed the hitch downward until the front wheels came off the ground. The hitch stayed in place.

2 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

The hitch ripping off is likely to cause a fatality at some point. There have already been trailers, below the rated weight, that broke the hitch off on the freeway. Fuck the entire company and their shoddy weak ass products.

2 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

Absolutly the truck is garbage, but it's best to use good cases and not one like dropping 11000lbs on something rated for 1100 and expecting it to work properly. The f150 surviving is great, but an exception.

Fuck, and I even looked it up to make sure I had the right name, I didnt stop to check the spelling...

No shame, friend. It's just my personal crusade. Whenever a typo goes uncorrected, the errorists win.

2 years ago | Likes 6 Dislikes 0

I'll keap that in mind next time.

God damn errorists!
