I am absolutely appealing to the French for advice on how to handle this situation. I humbly ask that you remember that we're occupied by a military dictatorship that will execute us in the streets. All advice is welcome, but so far, all I see is you guys suggesting shit that will get thousands of us murdered.
Not to do the stereotype of getting WWII on this, but the last time you guys were in the same situation, you needed outside help.

Coordinate a strike on critical infrastructure that businesses rely on. Keep those striking fed and housed. Planes, trains, petro, etc. things that rack up costs in a matter of days and aren't essential for regular folks. Before anyone says 'buh buh but that's illegal' I would forewarn you that only one strike has ever been ruled to be legal, and also that your government has fought tooth and nail to prevent you from organizing in this way since its inception. Because it's fucking effective.

@OP hate to tell you, but you need to do it like the Iranians always do.
You have to push back, knowing you might be shot.
The fear of it happening is why they do it.
To suppress those who are scared of it.
Regimes get their most brutal and horrific just before they fall, because they don't hold anything back to keep their grip on power. If they can kill or scare off those who are resisting them, then the regime wins. Sadly, Iran always kills tens of thousands with every attempted revolt.

Eh, the last time the French were occupied by a military dictatorship, it was foreign, and they (well, some of them) resisted, risking death.
But even before that, in the times of Napoleon, and before him too. There were times when the French government turned guns on civilians. They blockaded the streets, rioted, and often died.
I'm not saying you need to fight and die. There are ways to non-violently get the point across. Strikes, marches, that kind of thing. Make a community. Organise. >

Im Polish, but my take on this is guillotines. The French made it so fucking terrible that a new word had to be made- terror- which kinda stuck somwhere in the back of the heads of EVERYBODY that there are civil ways to do stuff and there are the uncivilized ways to do stuff if you push people too far. I doubt you guys can do it though, for one your oppressors are too dumb to realize they can be torn apart limb from limb by angry mob at any time, no matter how many agents there are...

/2 If you want advice on how to proceed though, I would suggest asking Iceland instead, IIRC they had a general strike that paralized their whole country and nobody died while their demands were met. Can you do this though? No idea, but I do hope you can manage this shit and grow from this horror.

I don't really know how to say this but I will try. We have worshipped violence for so long in America that it is our culture now. Those lost to violence's alluring power will not give it up because it makes them feel safe. We could be violent back and make them feel unsafe, but that only causes them to grip their security violence harder. We have to stop participating in this culture entirely. The price of this will be death equal to the potential for violence we have created. (1/?)

We have to stop making things for those who use violence. We have to stop serving those who use violence. We have to show them that no matter how much they hurt and kill us they will not get what they want. Yes the violent ones will cause pain and death in unbearable amounts. Any reaction is a victory to them because it means violence still has control. We have to show them it does not. No gas for them, no groceries for them, no water. We abandon them completely until they have to stop (2/?)

Using violence to fulfill their needs. Until they are forced to bend their swords into ploughs. The cost will be high but the only way out is to prove violence will get them nothing. I am sorry but this is our bed to lay in. Because they are us. It doesn't feel like it but they are. Scared like us, angry like us. Until we can prove violence has no control it will control us all.
