#11 I saw De La Soul when they came out here years ago (Australia) they were nearly 2 hours late, complained about the equipment and staff, said that they didn’t care about the noise curfew of the venue - they were going to play until they were done, then after playing for about 20 minutes they were told they had to stop (because of the noise curfew the venue was under). They refused, the venue pulled the power and asked everyone to leave. The touring company sent an apology and refund.
I saw De La while stationed in Naples Italy in 1997. They were super late and were drunk AF. It was at a dance club so they played till done. Awesome show and got a chance to hang out with them after the show since me and my buddy were the only other Americans there.
I, too, turn 31 this year yet didn't recall any of these songs being from the year I was born, (you know, from those "this was big when you were born" lists, etc.). That's when I discovered the LIE that those 11 songs came out in 1992. Which, should make you feel worse. Fun fact for ya.
That video looks like it was filmed in Oxford, and then someone ODs so Inspector Thursday and Morse show up to investigate what turns out to be...murder.
