Last week I was nearing the end of my rope. I was a disaster in so many ways, and cried out (https://imgur.com/gallery/XZCHibP). Words of support alone deserves a post & meme of how thankful I am for this community.
But, the lovely and supporting people that you all are went beyond that. Far and away beyond. I've a few people, new friends, I hope, that I can just talk with from time to time without trying to present myself as something more, or different than I am.
Still, y'all went beyond even that! So much so I ended up having to stop, wait and gather myself together so I don't waste the opportunity, the new chance I've been given to step up and make things better, BE better.
Once I took care of our housing issue, the most minimum of needs I had to take a step back. Of course life went on. Wife ended up in the hospital over the weekend for another Kidney issue and a kind confirmation that she's started the path of kidney failure that has killed her mother, grandmother, and so many others in her family. Her birthday was yesterday, and we took a brief moment to go to her favorite oriental buffet and then checked to make sure all her social security paperwork was set and they needed nothing more. We also were able to get my daughter contacts and glasses and I got to spend a few hours with her simply talking. We didn't do much, but it was a good day.
I regret, however, that it took me so long to respond, to come back here to offer such gratitude and thanks this community and specific members in it deserve. I was truly overwhelmed by the responses and gifts. It took a bit to believe it and to settle into how to best move on and be accountable and responsible. I do not know what I would do, would have done, without y'all.
I typically avoid naming specific individuals in a public display of gratitude, or anything for that matter. But there are a few that are already known from their replies to my voidal cry.
@GBMaker - @daddyskittenmeow - @sevenfingerman - @TheFreePizzaDude and ALL his cohorts! There are so many more of you, hundreds that I probably will never met or know their avatar here, not to mention their names. The help, discussions, and advice are forever welcome and worth well beyond the time spent in aiding myself and others I know you have.
May all of your needs be met and your life's endeavors be met with success! That you'll be remembered for the good you have done and the joy you have brought to those around you and beyond!
Lastly, the pair of pups working as my wife & daughter's service dogs. Silly delightful things to which my daughter caught them in this position and made the meme herself. I still delight in it and am sharing it again despite its irreverence to the topic of the post.
Lastly, doing a plant tax since the pups above didn't quite hit the spot. Two years ago this was a tiny little but of a thing with a flower stem. This is the plant my daughter has tended since then and once again is in a new container with room to grow. Like this, I now have so much more room to grow and improve. Be well all of you, I wish I could do more in return, and I strive to someday offer as much or more help in return to those who need it as you all have done for me & my family.

Keep it up. I know it isn’t easy, but we all want you to succeed.
