I'm doing a no-bake lasagna. Had a bunch of vegetable leftovers, and some cheese. I plan to let it sit overnight and then bake it tomorrow. It's plenty juicy, so it should soften those noodles, nicely.
Look at those beautiful vegetable layers!! I'm so excited, Lasagna for breakfast!!
If Brinner's for winners, what's dinner for breakfast??

… so how is it no bake
SuperfluousMeh
Oops! 😂 you're the only one to catch that! It's supposed to be no boil noodles. It's regular lasagna pasta instead of the no boil noodles.

No-bake but then baking?
SuperfluousMeh
Well it's not baked yet so technically yes? But in actuality it was supposed to say no boil noodles, those are regular noodles not the special pasta.

Brussels sprouts? Olive? Please gimme a veggie list, @OP! Then update later, of course.
SuperfluousMeh
Yes, Brussel sprouts! As well as zucchini, summer squash, broccoli, cauliflower, onion and carrots! Fingers Crossed!!

I'm not gonna lie. That is absolutely something I would mess around with. Moz and parm too, I see. Marinara or some other sauce? I'm legit curious.
SuperfluousMeh
Yes, jarred marinara fixed-up with some spice, but sadly i forgot the Parmesan!! Can you fucking believe it?! But that's fresh mozzarella pearls! And those melt so yummyly 😋. This is something I've never tried before, those are standard boil noodles not no-bake, but with the sauce plus the ricotta & egg mix plus the veggies, I am banking that there's enough moisture there to soften those noodles in the oven, and just enough egg to hold it all together. Also, I hope it 'falls' down a bit 😂

If this works, it cuts out a significant time suck that is Lasagna, and that's the pre-boiling of the noodles. 😋

I mistook the shredded moz for parm. My gf HATES the "foot cheese." I've started adding it to my sauces to take the tangy out and she doesn't know yet.

And So It Begins ...

Yo! /a/EDgc8lJ honestly? Could have gave it 10 minutes more, the pasta's still quite firm in the center but, I'm pretty sure it'll be fine! Note the drip tray 😂, always trust your cooking instincts!

Nice!

Just one more, I can't resist, I'm so proud /a/9mKGX4s 😄😁
