I like savage elves pretty decently. Generally I want a setting to have snooty lawful high elves and scary chaotic wood elves, and most settings comply. I do four kinds in mine, isolationist cannibals, corrupt druidic space cases, salty sulky neutral outcasts, and snooty powerful mostly benevolent.
