Been out almost 9 years now ...
Actually the only Elder Scrolls I've ever played is ESO during that free week they recently had.

I played it for the first time ~2 years ago. I thought it was decent. Like a solid B. Maybe a C+ considering all the glitches

I really believe Oblivion and Morrowind had more to offer than Skyrim to be honest. I feel like they are more fleshed out games as a whole.

I played it once and put 30 spears in a dead rabbits inventory, that felt a bit silly, and then I couldn't find it.

Same, cant stand the combat in the series. Melee specifically feels like waving nerf toys around, no weight or impact.

Part of me does want to try it but part of me also says its so old now just watch youtubers play it and get newer games to play instead. lol

It is out of date. But to write-off a game because of its graphics or age is a disservice to yourself. Skyrim is an awesome experience.

Do you have PC or consul? They have re-released with higher quality versions. Extremely high replay value. Each playthru could be different

PC has a ton of mods so its a completely different game every time if you want it to be. I have a friend that put more than 1000 hours in it

while it does have bugs, you can get nice graphics for it, as well as some very good unofficial patches that do wonders. it'll be like new
