He died from getting k holed in a hot tub and drowning, ketamine didn’t really kill him, the choice of location did.

They keep you in the hospital for that therapy. They can’t give it to you and release you to the streets

You can actually do it at home. Its taken orally and they straight up mail it to you. You arent supposed to use it while you're alone though

I know someone that does it and they have to go to the hospital. (Australia)

Why was this published though.. I would have been perfectly fine not knowing about it. (I mean for privacy reasons for the sake of mr Perry)
This just makes me extra sad.

It's so humane though and I can understand him

I think it's always very important to understand the reasons that led to a lost life. Either to calm everybody's mind or so that people can learn about the dangers and risks of certain activities. Makes it less abstract.

I believe that the records aren't private, and because he's a celebrity "everyone" needs to know.

I was feeling very sad, and then you made me laugh, and now I feel like a bad person. I hope you're happy.

I'm probably going to hell for it, so I appreciate that I don't have to go alone

Ketamine is the new OxyContin for prescribers, sales reps and clinics.

Truly better to just say nothing than make statements you know nothing about.

No it's not. Honestly this is an absurdly ignorant take.

PBS literally did a segment on how it is tonight.

Okay, well I just watched it, and can safely say your media literacy is poor. At no point did they refer to ocycintun. They didn't even compare ketamine to opiates or opioids in terms of use, prescription rates, addictiveness it risk. He just said "bear in mind were still in the midst of an opioid epidemic." Which duh, obviously. You made up the comparison, so refer back to my previous comments.

You can apply the same nonsequitur to weed alcohol and yoga.

That guy gave no solutions, he vaguely gestures towards "prescription and nonorescription tools in the toolbox". Wow, genius. Thanks for that.

Much like fentanyl, ketamine is quite dangerous. Far more useful, but just as dangerous.
Psychedelics appear to be better treatment options than any of these other substances. Treatment is by necessity very closely monitored and guided. Unlike ketamine, junkies/addicts aren't going to have the same desire to or success in acquiring things like DMT. Psilocybin maybe, but again, they're not the sorts of substances anybody abuses.
