Surf and Turf Egg Frittata

Though I would share one of my favorite meals with you all"Surf and Turf Egg Frittata with Rum-Beer Glaze"

Ingredients:

5 eggs
2 sardines (canned in oil, drained)
1 chicken breast, cooked and shredded
1/4 cup rum
1/2 cup beer
1/2 cup milk
Salt and pepper to taste
2 tablespoons olive oil

Instructions:

Preheat Oven:
Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).

Prepare Ingredients:
In a bowl, whisk the eggs and season with salt and pepper.
Chop the sardines into small pieces.
Shred the cooked chicken breast.

Make Frittata:
Heat olive oil in an oven-safe skillet over medium heat.
Add the sardines and shredded chicken to the skillet, allowing them to cook for 2-3 minutes.
Pour the whisked eggs over the sardines and chicken in the skillet.

Bake:
Transfer the skillet to the preheated oven and bake for about 15-20 minutes or until the eggs are set.

Prepare Rum-Beer Glaze:
In a saucepan, combine the rum, beer, and milk.
Bring the mixture to a simmer over medium heat, stirring occasionally.
Reduce the heat and let it simmer for 5-7 minutes or until the glaze thickens slightly.

Finish:
Once the frittata is cooked, remove it from the oven and let it cool for a few minutes.
Drizzle the rum-beer glaze over the frittata.

Serve:
Slice the frittata into wedges and serve warm.

This unique dish combines the flavors of sardines, chicken, and a rum-beer glaze for a savory and slightly sweet taste. Enjoy your Surf and Turf Egg Frittata! #ticket #recipe #storytime
