The eagle was starved, but left unharmed. Talk about a close call! A massive eagle had pinned down Dias the cat in the snow. Luckily, a quick-thinking rescuer stepped in with a branch to gently break the eagle's grip.
After a tense standoff, the eagle relented and Dias bolted for safety. As you can see at the end of the video, he’s back home on the sofa. He's a bit "tufs" (scruffy/shaken up) but thankfully uninjured and eating well.

Two things can be true at once. Cats are ecological disasters. Cats are also at greater risks of danger when allowed to free roam. There is zero good reason to let a cat be outside without a harness at the bare minimum.
