Well done.

#2 your mistake is putting this as number 2 because I guarantee you a good number of people won't see the rest of the dump.

#9 I know it’s probably 80% rose coloured glasses but damn I miss 3.5e

#1 Jokes on you, I intentionally never setup my voicemail. I'm told the phone company has a snarky message that tells callers "why don't you try texting instead?". (True story.)

Romita Jr.´s comic this is based on, is the best Daredevil origin story. Great scene. had to go and watch it.

Writers deserve DVD residuals.

#5 when I was in grad, some of my peers were athletic trainers at fort Benning. We were at Auburn. Auburn is on central time, fb is in eastern. They had to be at the fort for 5am ruck marches - at least 2 hours early to prep any soldiers who needed care before the march/to do rehabs with injured ones.
My bf went to bed at 7 every night lol

#2 I also occasionally get "Watch the recap video that played before Season 3" because who really expected them to use a track from the Mass Effect OST (It doesn't appear to be on Disney+ or Netflix anymore but this is it https://youtu.be/gFaWJpcDUwU?si=LZg69gyk4skiAuL7)

#2 that was pretty good choreography & cinematography.
4chanrefugee
You have to watch it. It's intense, visceral stunningly choreographed with exquisite composition.
Trigger warning. Violence. Like so much violence...
I'm watching it again. If you watch it at 1142 CST, we'll be watching it together.
MatthewMUKEBroderick
What's the EST I'll join in.

#8 when 10,000 tributaries flow together to form a river, can you really point out one and say it is the beginning?
4chanrefugee
Why yes I can...
JabesMcJabesface
I appreciate the cleverness of the response, but it does feel so very arbitrary
4chanrefugee
Oh you are absolutely correct. I thought if I replied in a way that demonstrated I had egregiously missed your point, and included an example that was equally ridiculous, it might make you chuckle briefly.
JabesMcJabesface
Well done

The writers strike in 2007 caused a shift to reality TV which resulted in the success of the apprentice, leading to Trump's election and his role in the current state of the US.
One of the issues of the strike was writers wanted residuals for DVD sales.
alyssajones123
Thank you, I knew of the pieces but my brain was not putting them together.
I've always hated that sort of super competitive reality TV, and apparently for good reason....
Adsma2002
My friend says thanks.

Hey buddy. Cheers for asking this for me. I had no idea but was afk.

Now ask about Star Trek Voyager electing Obama
SuperLuminalMan
Jeri Ryan was cast as Seven-of-Nine and moved to LA but her husband Jack Ryan refused, she filed for divorce from her husband, the divorce involved revelations that caused enough scandal that he dropped out of the Senate election, Obama was elected Senator, and four years later he was elected president.

Wild how history be like that sometimes.

I have it on good authority that greed is good. There's no way you can convince me that Gordon Gekko would lie to me. /s

So you're telling me all I have to do is go to 2007 and avoid the strike? Where's Doc Brown when you need him...
emu314159127001
Well, you need to [redacted] that guy, and anyone else with the bright idea. Everyone thought he was "the Donald " before that, but it convinced these smooth brains he was "a businessman." Not only that, there were people that thought that running things like a business was a good idea.
4chanrefugee
I've tracked the ϕracture. 1997 is your destination. Diana Spencer. I'd go myself, but I need to go on a suicide mission from 2033 to 1783 to ensure you're born.
Godspeed.

Then whose cape is this? *holds up a dark red cape*

If you really want to make a difference, Gingrich only won his primary in '92 by less than 1k votes. He loses, Michel doesn't get forced out of R leadership in '94, which causes much less partisan divide and and a much less powerful religious right. Which averts the shutdown in '95-96, meaning there's more focus on tracking the group responsible for the '93 Trade Center bombings, more support for Clinton's economy, and no Lewinsky scandal (they don't even *meet* without the shutdown). Dems do /1

better in the second half of the decade and are able to get more oversight regulations passed, helping mitigate the eventual issues with both the dotcom bubble and Enron. The expanded bipartisan focus on the WTC bombing potentially avoids the bombing of the Cole, and increased surveillance on the 9/11 team plus a less hectic transfer of power in 2000 that doesn't mess with the sharing of intelligence has a very good chance of stopping the 9/11 attacks from going through. No Bush in the WH /2

means no invasion of Iraq and far less regional turmoil in the Mideast and a better reputation for the US abroad.
