Built the middle cleat and the first shelf, then the 2nd and 3rd cleats. Here they are mounted (Didn't figure I'd really need to upload 20 pics of me
cutting up 2×4s)
Shelves 2 & 3. Took all my measurements from shelf 1, and these two came out perfect on the first go-round.
All three done and sanded. 80g, then 120g, then 220g.

After sanding and planing the rough spots, here's the first round of finish: Strong black tea in two coats.
Soak some steel wool in ACV for a day or four, then brush that schnizz on once the tea coat dries. Within about 15-20min it starts to darken up.
