Me when my appendix becomes necrotic & bursts but was caught by contrast CT & removed before it could kill me.
3 days of extreme pain before it came out. Had to be irrigated because of the rupture. I think my guts are back where they are supposed to be now though!
**If you have sudden onset abdominal pain, go to emergency.**

Just hope you dont have adhesions form and your guts tie themselves into knots like mine did after the appendectomy. That hurts a lot worse.

They're doing ok. That sounds terrible. I was there 2 full days under observation afterward. Still swollen & pain, but nowhere near as bad.

For adhesions, they have to cut you open from chest down to pubes and then manually untangle and untie the knots in your intestines.

As bad as it sounds, it hurts worse. That's the 10 on my 1-10 pain scale. Everything else hurts some amount less than that.

It happened to me 3 times after my appendectomy when I was a teenager. It's been over 30 years, still haven't forgot that level of hurting.

Jesus. That's fucking crazy. Glad everything finally worked out. Must've been a miserable recovery.
