Currently there about 800 national guards with another 750 summoned from other states to head there as of today. Over 3,700 cops already threw. 800 ICE staff, and everyone else is FBI and other departments that are of unknown number.
All this to lockdown a population of 700,000. One that could easily have hundreds of small barricaded protests.

Historians regard the Nuremberg trials are as a failure. They served, for a time, as a propaganda tool, ostensibly showing that the allies did something about all the old nazis still left in Germany. In the first round, only 22 men were tried. 12 sentenced to death, 9 to prison, and 3 acquitted. In following rounds, ~1850 mostly lower ranking soldiers were tried. ~440 of them sentenced to death and ~1080 to prison. Except that only 252 were executed. Because by 1958, almost all of them went free

Their sentences commuted by the allies who were still in charge at this point. This Includes 6 of the 7 who were imprisoned in the first round of the trials.
In German schools and general zeitgeist, the trials thus play a much lesser role than they seem to do in the American one, where the much less righteous aftermath isn't as well known.

Nuremberg happened because the country was under the control hostile powers. To do that in America, someone would either need to defeat them without them just pressing the big red button and kill the entire planet, or an internal revolution, with the new regime willing to actually prosecute and punish basically half the country, and not just play-pretend "we're all freinds again!" like after the Civil War.
