It is summer break here, and the food subscription service I have (think like Blue Apron) is on summer break. So, I have decided that it is time to clean out my freezers and pantry and use up some left-overs and forgotten staple items. The goal is twofold: 1) use up older foodstuffs wasting space in my house, and 2) try to be creative with the leftovers I have.
Meal 1 - found an open bag of chicken pittipanna and a half head of pak choi. Chopped up the pak choi, fried it up with the pittipanna (blend of potatoes and root veg, carrots, peppers, onion and chicken pieces) topped with poached egg and siracha.
Day one, mission accomplished. Two less things in fridge freezer.
Grade: Would make it again.
Anyone have a suggestion for a package of frozen seafood mix of mussels, octopus rings and shrimp, send it my way. Thinking pasta of some kind.
