It was pretty good. This one, Pi (not life of Pi but that one was good too for that) and a few others make excellent background movies IMO.

100%. It commits fully to the source material and delivers gritty, pulpy noir fun. Very silly, very over the top and an absolute blast start to finish. Pity about the sequel.

Yep. But, A Dame to Kill For was a prequel, but yeah it didn't quite live up to the first one.
