Finally got it done.

I'm afraid of bugs so this was very hard for me. My wireless connection wasn't cutting it. Buckled down and wired myself in today.

Step 1.)

Get rid of this thing, whatever it is.

B.)

Toss this somewhere that it will be out of the way...

Hell Gate: Attic

I've been up there once, it wasn't pleasant.

Oh god help.

I don't know how bugs work, but I wasn't taking any chances of them laying eggs in my mouth.

All the way back there?

Crawling back there wasn't the best, but the more time I spent up there it wasn't that bad. I think Anne Frank would have loved it here.

Two cables can't fit in that small hole.

I had to drill through this to inset the cat-5 and the coaxial. Fun.

This is where the killing happens.

I didn't see anything interesting. No safes, just dust.

Dog Tax.

She wasn't impressed with my work, oh well. Op test: Sat. We did it.

The path from attic fear to attic joy: clear it, insulate it, board it, carpet it and install an extensive 00 gauge model railway.

I wired my house with data-cable this year.... I have 48 cable drops. Took me about 2 months haha.

What do you do at your house? Run servers?

You need to insulate that attic.

This house is poorly constructed. Weirdly it holds temperatures pretty well. The landlord is a dirtbag though.

if you want to boost your wifi signal, best way is to get a repeater. homeplug repeater is better.Cabling are for non wireless though.
