"Its stirred Stewart.....its-ITS FUCKI- gimme that, OH LOOKIT IM STEWART AND I GOTTA KEEP FUCKING STIRRING, LOOKIT ME LOOKIT ME!!!!! IM STIRRING!! IS IT DONE STEWART?! IS IT FUCKING DONE?!" *tosses spoon back*
Having a *parrot* is like having a perpetual 2-4 yo child for 10-80 years that you need to keep enriched so they don’t become empty cutters. I have a few Java finches and they are lovely birds, but they’re a step above wild house finches, in that they will tolerate being handled and cared for, like house cats. Smart birds also tend to be the longer living ones, and it’s probably similar to having a kids with severe autism or downs. They need constant/frequent attention lifelong.
Corvids and parrots are very similar in their intelligence and needs. Parrots tend to have more lively personalities though, which is why they're more common for pets. Either way, most people should avoid anything but dogs or cats.

I love them. My little green monster chicken would do this, then throw the spoon. Probably at me. Gotta love them.

Love how it moves the spoon at the end to be vertical, so that it doesn't fall over. It looks so content!

Seeing how he disappears with the cup into his little bird house, was... was this actually foreplay?

The more I watch stuff like this, the more I'm convinced birds are just those small plastic wind up toys from gacha machines

As a birb person... i'm ok with this. Our pets are flying dinosaurs.

I know it can be difficult sometimes to tell them apart, but that is an actual bird.

I've always had immense respect for those who responsibly own parrots. They possess a deep well of patience and restraint that I simply can't fathom.

ever thought about getting corvids? they're smarter than many people and don't seem as hyperactive as parrots...
