I never fell in love with Smith as I did Tennant or Eccleston, but he wasn't bad. I can not WAIT for Capaldi, though.

I enjoyed Matt Smith, but I think the biggest flaw with him as the doctor was Moffat's incredible geektastic fanboying all over the show.

I like this one. Matt Smith was my personal favourite, but I can't wait for Capaldi.

He was a placeholder at best. He just sort of stood there and flailed about. I'm ready for someone who is an actual actor.

Eh. I thouht he (paradoxically) played the age of The Doctor better than anyone I've seen, and certainly made him more alien.

He had no gravitas. Could have been the scripts, but every episode he was just "Meh". He never got me emotionally invested.

Big Bang Two was brilliant, and he was brilliant, lots of meh since then though. Would have liked more John Hurt.
