its been a long 8 months since we separated and we were together for roughly 2 years. Even after she moved out with her 2 sons. I kept supporting them to the best of my ability.
My own Depression and PTSD drove her away. That part is not her fault. her coming back when she needed money for a bill, groceries or any number of things. that was her choice. and it kept me on the hook because I love her and the boys.
Now she originally back out from present opening because of her new boyfriend. I opted to invite the man into my own home so the kids could open presents with their mother. apparently he thought it would be too awkward.
The Boys were delighted at the gifts they got, and I am happy for that
