She didn't. She lived in our District 3 and represented them for just the past almost four years (although it seems so much longer). In January, she will begin representing the 4th district. Her last re-election in District 3 was razor close, and she did not want to risk losing this time.

Looking an awful lot like we might be voluntarily moving back to Taiwan next year… Life was better there anyway.

Which would have let Biden appoint 2-4 new justices depending on how big the expansion.
