Sequel is bad. It actually has a scene where they have a very blurry distant camera picture. Then the accountant tells the tech to "enhance" and they end up with a perfect closeup pictured of the perp.

I did the same thing with the guy in regular Elden Ring, because I didn't want to be called maidenless. Turns out that you don't get access to leveling up or maidens unless you let him call you maidenless. Truly a cruel game.

He's probably made more work for himself, having to cover up all those transactions that might nail Lazuto for the crime. So either super far behind, or keeping himself employed and generating his own work.

So here's why I I think that one should be nearly first from a narrative framing. #1 is the hook/In medias res, #2 is the scene that happens immediately after #1, then the following scenes are a flashback after Tony asks about it, finally #8 brings the flashback sequence to an end and back to the present where he explains what he's been doing. Finally Tony dies to a buthole problem, bringing the story full circle.
