Hey so, times are hard.

All of my roommates are currently going through it, unsure if we'll be forced to leave our home in April.

I know a lot of people are struggling right now but I am panicking.

This has been a really awful stint of bad luck.

If I share this link and anyone is feeling kind enough to go to it and press the enter button, my roommates and I will be entered in an extra time to this raffle for April rent! No worries if you don't want to, I'm trying anything within my power rn.
Anyway have a good day y'all, enjoy the memes!

Remember all members of Gen Y, no more punching down. Gen Z isn't your enemy. Even if you don't understand what the hell they're saying, they want things better for themselves and by proxy, everyone who isn't a damn billionaire. Unless we can band together and work toward something, we're gonna get nothing.

I've always favored more outcome-based definitions. Capitalism is less "laissez-faire", more "the wealthy get wealthier".

yes that is capitalism. it had always worked the way it does now and it always will until we get rid of it

Don’t care how long it takes, I will gladly eat the rich and burn their mansions to the ground in my 90s if need be.

Wow. They are so excited they get to learn something for free. Imagine that. Imagine you had the power to pay for thousands of people to better the world with knowledge and you chose not to. I would start my own free college if it cost 2% of my net worth

Gen X has done nothing but eat boomer table scrapes, your complacency is what allowed your parents to ruin this country.

I mean, fuck you. Most of our boomer parents were hard working people and definitely not rich plus it was not us that put your trump idol in power. But you do you and classify a whole group in the same dirty bucket. Have a nice evening.

#1 Alternator went out last night. Left me stranded for a bit. Enough time to think about how much this was going to cost, and all the things I wouldn't be able to do now because of that expense.

Mine went out last week. It's less than two years old and only starts twice a day. Fucking bullshit.

Jfc that's awful ;-; I hope you're able to bounce back, that is some terrible luck!

Update: I found one on Amazon for $115 and just finished installing it myself! All things considered, it turned out about as good as it could without being free!

#1 - I saved a nice chunk of change. Then I got sick and found out I had a cancerous brain tumor. I don't make a lot of money and this hit me hard. At least I am still here...right?

2 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

I am so glad you're still here dude! So sorry to hear that happened to you, things are shit but thank you for persevering πŸ™πŸ’•

I can't even lie - if I get a cancer diagnosis, I'm not gonna get any treatment. Imma take out every credit card I can, max em all out doing whatever the fuck I want, and then just fucking die. And it'll probably be the happiest I'll ever be in life.

Yeah, bad luck to have gotten it. Days go by and sometimes wish, well, not so good thoughts. In addition to the med bills, I also have student loans!!! Some days are definitely harder than others.

#1 When I think of something I would wish on my worst enemy, this comes to mind. Every time it feels like they have a comfortable (1/2)

cushion of savings, THAT'S when the "check engine" light comes on, or something else breaks that completely eats the savings.
