Using people's death, celebrity or not, as a mean to get some fake points is unsightly. You don't need to post your "sadness" here. If you were really sad you wouldn't do it.
If you want to make a tribute, that's another story, but just a picture and "omg! RIP john doe, you'll be missed" won't cut it. It's just plain point whoring. It's disgusting, it has a "how this death will benefice me" kind of mentality behind it.

But but but... They're letting us know! How else would we know that someone who no one's thought of in 1 decade was dead.
