Long and short of it. Border agents claim driver boxed in their vehicle and rammed into them, and threatened them with her pistol that she is licensed with and has CCW for. Driver said he didnt have body camera on as to not be targeted, but luckily the other agents in the car had theirs on. It showed the agent driving said "do something bitch" before running his vehicle into the victim's vehicle, got out, and fired 5 rounds into her leaving 7 holes (which later bragged about his shooting skills during text msgs). DHS maintains that the victims were "domestic terrorists" but the judge and the prosecutor both agreed to dismiss with prejudice, so the case can not ever be refiled.
Sooooo more evidence of DHS lying to push their racist agenda while agents openly shoot civilians for no reason, but at least THIS ONE was caught before the victims could face serious charges. Soooooo..... Yay? I guess (i hate it here)

Here's hoping. But justice would be better served with charges against the agent. Im thinking attempted murder, cpl charges of assault with a deadly weapon (gun and vehicle), menace, im sure we could slap like 10 more charges. Also a suing for lots of money (of course on tax payer dime). Like this is authoritarian to the max and it doesn't stop without lots of lawsuits or inevitable use of force, which we dont want to resort to

I believe the insane thing is that border control can operate within anything considered a "border zone", which has "reasonably" been defined as anywhere within 100 mi of a border, an international airport, a port, etc... So, yeah, considering 100 mi radiuses of those types of things, almost everywhere.

Border patrol rams into a car, gets out and shoots 5 rounds into driver (brags about 7 holes), arrests driver and tries to push domestic terrorism, and drives the victim's car to Maine from Chicago potentially to dispose of evidence. They claim driver boxed them in and drove into border patrol vehicle and waved a pistol. Agents in backseat had body cam on and the evidence does not support agent's claims. Case dismissed with prejudice meaning they cant try to charge the victims again

Forgot to add the agent who did the shooting also took the victims' vehicle to Maine which is suspected to be an effort to destroy evidence as his account of the situation didnt match the evidence, and the victim's gun never left her purse
