I sent a New Years Resolution to write at least a page a day on my novel and do a journal entry a day in the writing journal I received as a Christmas present. Work got a little crazier with being in person and I ended up missing the better part of a week. Forgave myself as I had more than one day where I had done multiple pages so a week without writing I was still over the one page a day. Then had another busy week and didn't get as much writing as I should have and felt down about it. This week I have off and resolved to do 2 pages a day to make up for this last week I missed. Last night I crossed the 250 mark and didn't realize it until this morning. Thats 254 pages in 237 days, so not where I want to be, but still more than my minimum. I'm not certain if I will hit 300 pages with this story as it is nearly finished, but there is always the next one to begin!
I know not many people care, but I'm proud of my progress and really sticking to it this time instead of just giving up when things got tough and other distractions got in the way. And I need to toot my own horn somewhere and I despise most forms of social media.
