There has been a wave of warehouse fires across the US over the past several months, but the national news isn't covering it because they don't want to make it 1. look like a trend or 2. inspire more, but news aggregators are finding them being reported on local evening news and in local papers.
In the county next door of orange at an industrial plant called GKN They had a tank that they thought was going to explode and they had to evacuate 50,000 people from the surrounding neighborhoods. After about a week the chemical inside hardened and people were allowed back home.
The bits that move the hot from the cold part got too hot, ie the air conditioner caught fire. But maybe this was a joke, so perhaps whoosh on my part.

No. This is a company that's had multiple failed safety inspections and a prior warehouse fire because they failed to adequately secure the dangerous stuff they're storing. This isn't their first warehouse fire this decade.
In civilised countries, we have sprinkler systems in all commercial buildings that might store flammable materials and goods, to deal with exactly this predictable situation.
Is the US civilised? Not when they used forever chemicals in fire suppression systems as well as coating on their fucking cooking pans and domestic fittings and carpets that readily burn.
I don’t understand why you’re so upset with America. PFAS were only banned in firefighting foam in the EU this year. Before then they were prevalent throughout Europe. By your logic Europe was uncivilized from the 1940s when PFAS started being used until just now.
We don’t know if it was arson yet… probably a good chance it could have been due to negligence by the owner and a failure to properly upkeep and maintain the facility, capitalist bourgeoisie scum are notoriously cheap after all.
Yes. Its part of this thing called maintenance. Failure to to do that causes equipment to fail. Just like not paying your employees a living wage no maintenance means things like this happen
The same building caught fire 2 years ago. They weren't doing proper maintenance on their solar panels. Very likely same thing here, pay bottom dollar for someone's cousin to come in and maintain a complex and massive solar array and whoops, fire.
