Honestly, I'll never get used to seeing how much some must pay in other countries

That translates to what? $7 or 8 USD? I can barely buy lunch for that much...

Around $6. Lunch is 3,30€ here. People without scholarship pay around 400€ a year for both registration fee and social insurance.
