I'll date myself here, but late night television used to be about comedy, a nice escape, not yet another rage outlet for all the bullshit that is going wrong in the world. There are plenty of 24/7 news outlets to keep us informed, we don't need celebrity hosts rehashing all the bullshit happening in the world
