heating up a bolt does work sometimes cause it causes the metal to expand just enough to make it loose

that third ratchet is idiotic. ratchets aren't for loosening super tight bolts, they are to make it easier to get off.

buddy we use pipes that are sometimes a metre long to tear off bolts at my job. the ratchet cracks its bearings before the bolt moves.

Buddy, you’ve never encountered a bolt that’s two feet away with no access, where one ratchet click is all you can hope for.

The inverse where can only get a open/ring spanner on it & move it 1/12'th of a turn, then flip the spanner over and repeat is fun too :)
