My dad always said if it wasn't for our "sheprock" luck, we would have no luck at all.
Despite past and current events, I am trying to remain positive. No a car theft isn't the end of the world, but there are real world ramifications (mostly economical) which I will have to deal with. The worst of these will be not having transportation, and having to take on a second auto loan before the first is paid off (if I can even afford that).

Have you considered getting a tracker for your car? Not sure how those air tags work, but maybe that would be enough?

I actually had, and was saving up money for extra security on my vehicle, as it was attempted to be stolen several months ago when I first moved into the apt.

I've got a 2004 and 2008 that can both be stolen with nothing more than a screwdriver and hammer. Locks are nothing more than a deterrent for the uninformed.

Some cars are pretty easy to steal. Had 1994 Honda Accord that was a pretty popular target because it a solid car but easy to steal. Some push button cars today make it even easier.

Sorry hear this is an ongoing issue for you if you haven't already taken some time and look up your cars make and model online and if it has known security issuesl? Some cars are easier to get into then others. Also look for class action suits for known issues it may cover cost or repairs if nothing else their may be suggestions cheap or free to help remedy the issue.

Thank you for the suggestion, I will wait to see if I get it back before thinking of repairs. But sadly because it is a bit older, I know Hyundai can't/hasn't done much for these models. Although their newer models are so popular to steal they did pushout a security update a couple of years back, but my car was older than the ones being updated lol.
