Where I go is this: By international law we *are* required to welcome refugees and asylum seekers. So the two things we should be doing is assigning reasonable resources to do that effectively...and just maybe trying to figure out how to help make their native countries less of somewhere that needs to be escaped from. America was settled, and subsequently populated by, waves of refugees and asylum seekers, now isn't the time to forget that.

Negligent homicide? I think you'll find that putting these people on busses under false pretenses might qualify for kidnapping. In which case, the driver, the bus company and Abbott are all equally guilty. And since someone died during the commission of the crime, they all get to share a felony murder charge too.

If you were traveling to another state on a bus that didn't have undocumented immigrants on it and there was a medical emergency do you actually think the driver would just keep chugging along to the destination without stopping and alerting emergency services? Better yet, do you actually think the bus companies and their drivers don't have procedures for such occurances?

Because they were transporting someone having a medical emergency and didn't alert medical personnel until after she lost consciousness. Maybe her condition was concealed from them, but it certainly deserves investigation. Considering that the company and driver are taking part in a program by a fascist state to try to cause economic damage to other states, I'm less inclined to view their actions charitably and give the benefit of the doubt.
