The more I think about Kevin Smith and how many movies he did for Miramax and Weinstein I find it hard to believe he didn't know what was going on.

He’s talked about what he did know.
That Weinstein would show up with women, act flashy like a big wig at Cannes etc. Beyond that there were rumors, that it’s important to state that were around everywhere in Hollywood. No one with firsthand experience has claimed to have told Kevin, so he heard unsubstantiated rumors not knowing the details.
Miramax was incredibly important to changing the life of dummy from Jersey with dreams in his eyes. But there’s no proof they were hanging out.
