Made in 1990, this is one of the very first parody spoofs, before Scary Movie was even a thing.
Obviously spoofing The Exorcist, right down to casting the same woman who played the little girl, now an adult.
With lots of visual gags and Leslie Nielsen as the lead, and taking a big jab at megachurches and religion on television (and I guess Popov in particular), this movie tickles my funny bone to this day.

One of the first? Not even close my friend. Abbot&Costello, Monte Python, Mel Brooks, hell this was not even Lelsie's first. still funny+1

Eh, it is still pretty up there, beating Scary Movie by a decade. I should have said "horror spoofs" I reckon.
