I do enjoy O'Connell's "just shoot it" approach to problem solving. Like that's a wall of sand. Sure it's got the guy's face in it, but it's still sand. Pumping 100 rounds of machine gun at it isn't going to make the sand go away. But he's gonna try anyway, because "shooting at it" has solved all his previous problems, however temporarily, so why not this time?
