A client I worked with graduated from his inpatient treatment program. My clients' victories are my victories. One day at a time.

As a recovering addict, there is no way in hell I would ever half the patience to do your job. Damn addicts lying and manipulating.

You're a sweetheart. I had to hit urgent care yesterday for an ear canal infection and the doctor thanked me for my work (1/2)

That was the first time a non-client had thanked me. This is the second time. I'm grateful to you both. :-)

So what drug or alcohol do you suggest for after a long day at a job where you are not appreciated? Whiskey and Pot?

I recommend self-care with a non-habit-forming substance. But you do you.

Last I checked everything is habit forming. Food, water, sleep, breathing, heroin

Some more habit forming than others
