After a couple of years happily watching to all Secret Santa posts, I decided to jump in and do my dues.
I received a match, studied his profile and sent a nice package with a bunch of presents. My match privately thanked me and I'm really happy.
Excited to discover what my own match will send me I waited and waited. Until Xmas passed and january came. Nothing from my match. No messages, no packages. Sad.
I then decided to ask for a backup gift. Immediately assigned a new secret santa. New excitement!
We are now at the end of January and same story: no messages, no packages, nothing at all.
Why the hell someone sholud sign as a backup gifter, if then doesn't send anything?
Disappointed.

No, I really believe in Secret Santa. It's a nice thing to connect people, at least once a year. I'm disappointed in people, not in SS.
