Ummm can we get the specs on the heart attack gun??

1 year ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

I've looked into the heart attack gun, and honestly it looks like horseshit. The poison could do what is claimed, but the supposed gun itself doesn't hold up. It's basically a coil dart gun, but the gun is so short, you'd have to be in close proximity in which case it'd be easier to just poke them with a syringe by hand.

Modern dart pistols could absolutely manage this, though.

If you, at any point in your entire life, thought this country was the greatest in the world....you have always been the cancer. Education is frowned upon.

Just so it's clear, when Republicans say they don't want CRT taught, the above information is what they mean. They really, really, really don't want you to know about the Tuskegee syphilis study. Or redlining. Or the recorded on-tape statements made by the Nixon and Reagan administrations that said exactly how they were targeting black people with their laws.

If anyone is curious about #1 the book "The Poisoner's Handbook" by Deborah Blum actually has a section about it with more details. The whole book is pretty fascinating, actually.

#9 Gary Webb is not a good source (see: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Gary_Webb#Dark_Alliance_series). Note about his "suspicious" death is nonsense; first shot went through his face without major damage (see: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Gary_Webb#Death ), and there are a number of documented cases of multiple gunshot suicide (see: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Multiple_gunshot_suicide ). His ex-wife said she thought it was suicide, and he was financially struggling with a ruined reputation.

Its inclusion as fact when I know it's misleading and dishonest BS calls the rest into question as well. FWIW I know the Gulf of Tonkin incident is pretty much exactly as described here.

It only SEEMS like this is an especially important time for us to remind ourselves of this. We should ALWAYS keep this knowledge in our consciousness as Americans.

I'm not saying the cia didnt drop a car full of guns in LA.

I'm saying i have met enough people that would forget they had a fuckton of automatic weapons in a car, people who would take a car without checking the trunk, and people who would straight up loose their car in the worst way possible

and I have full faith these people could all get drunk and work for law enforcement at the same time in the 1970s

ISIS (mostly consisting of western converts), proxy war in middle east, 7 okt (IDF not reporting, or more like IDF were behind it). Especially terrorism and the right wing irrational Islamophobia propaganda that helped soften the blow and avoid large protests/create one sided protests that were heavily criticised in media. It is no surprise the right is entirely somehow pro-Jews/pro-Israel.

The Business Plot should be taught in every school. If Smedly Butler had not recently come to the conclusion that the US Imperialism he had been instrumental in facilitating was, in fact, *bad* we would have had a government takeover by rich assholes much earlier

You mean the US goverment has killed people to support their agenda and then lied about it? Shocked! I'm shocked I say!

The FBI frame job on Ma Barker was so good Boney M did a song about how evil she was: Ma Barker knew her sons and their friends were criminals, and helped them by letting them stay with her / hide out with her, but she never planned or participated in their crimes. She and her son Fred were killed when Fred opted to shoot it out with the FBI rather than surrender. When he found out his fledgling Bureau had killed an unarmed 61 year old woman, J Edgar Hoover spun the lies about her

being a criminal mastermind, and that a gun had been found next to her body.

1 year ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 1

I love when idiots try to say, "But this all happened in the past; we have to move on." I'm like, The Tuskegee Experiments were running 53 years ago. Many of the people who participated, willingly or unwillingly, are still alive. So much of this happened in such recent times that I feel like people don't want to face the truth for fear of accepting that the US is not always perfect. Love my country. But I love it realistically, like a grown-up.

#6 Only took 90 years, but they finally did it. Same as back then, no one will be charged with anything in today's nazi oligarch administration. Just imagine what the takes would be if the Biden administration was dismantling democracy like this. Meal Team Six and the Gravy Seals would lose their minds, but it's ok now because Mango Mussolini is their guy. Bet your tits I'll be at the next 50501 protest here in CT! We had over 1,000 people show up in Hartford in icy, 20 degree weather yesterday.

Some of these are actually not true. Some of these are actually true. No need to spread conspiracy theories.

1 year ago | Likes 67 Dislikes 6

Speaking personally, fact checking is my fetish.

1 year ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

#1 This was industrial alcohol they were denaturing, definitely not intended for human consumption. What happened was workers or criminals were stealing it and selling it to unsuspecting customers.

1 year ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

The fact checking is good, but who doesn't love a good conspiracy theory? Only aliens don't because their brains didn't evolve that way, scientific fact, therefore aliens and the spawn of alien human breeding experiments still ongoing since the 50s at Area 51, all hate conspiracy theories, just like you seem to. I'm just saying ...

1 year ago | Likes 5 Dislikes 0

#3 is *probably* false, I know Mythbusters isn't a perfect source but they did test ice bullets at one point, where every bullet effectively vaporized or shattered instantly. Anything that is supposed to melt in the human body couldn't withstand the heat and pressure traditional firearms create, and anything pneumatic probably doesn't have enough power to penetrate regular clothes and skin.

When Snowden revealed the American Government was illegally spying on and surveilling their own population, Government swore that they would change things and promised that they would then operate within the law. They didn't change their illegal behavior to fit within the Law, they Changed the Law to Allow their Illegal Behavior! Then branded Snowden as a Traitor.

1 year ago | Likes 24 Dislikes 1

I mean Snowden was definitely a traitor and Russian asset, regardless of what he uncovered.

1 year ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 7

Traitor to who? Because he was not betraying american people, quite the opposite.

1 year ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 0

If he had just leaked the illegal stuff that may have been true. But he just dumped everything including names of spys and sources in countries like Russia and China. He got alot of people killed. He just recklessly dumped everything except for sensitive stuff about Russia suspiciously. Then he fleets to Russia and now works for their propaganda outlet RT. He was absolutely a traitor and spy.

1 year ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 1

I had the impression that it was Trump who sold all US spy info to Russia and middle east?

1 year ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

That was all before Trump won. Trump absolutely sold more information, probably including even more classified and important details that Snowden wouldn't have had access to. Hitler was for animal rights for example but that doesn't not make him a fucking monster. Snowden may have exposed some shit, but he went weeeelllllll beyond that and is absolutely a Russian asset. Remember the GOP used the Snowden thing to beat up on the Dems as this happened under them.

1 year ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 1

He didn't flee to Russia. The US government strategically waited until he was he had a layover at a Russian and revoked his passport so he couldn't leave. The American government intentionally trapped him in Russia.

IDK, Great Britain has a lot more history, China loves murdering its own, and the Roman Catholic Church has likely been protecting child rapists for some 1600 years. Now at present? Maybe...but USAID (and I know Trump's White House froze its funding) is the world's largest single welfare and public health program. The United States does a shitton of good, but unfortunately we elected Nazis and that'll all fall apart.

1 year ago | Likes 46 Dislikes 13

Thr Netherlands, Belgium, etc. One thing to keep in mind, though, is that the US did all those things in under 100 years. Many of the horrors of colonialism were perpetrated over centuries. The US bodycount, and crazy fuckery, even inside its own borders was pretty competitive. Idk if they felt they had a lot of catching up to do, but they sure went at it.
Plus, OP isn't even mentioning the other proxy wars and coups, the list is just too long.

America uses Propaganda on its own populace more than all of these nations combined.

1 year ago | Likes 15 Dislikes 6

Nha, in Europe, we also have propaganda, and in Russia / China there are outright speech restrictions.

1 year ago | Likes 9 Dislikes 5

I don't deny that other Nations use Propaganda on their own people, but nowhere near the American level.

1 year ago | Likes 6 Dislikes 6

In my opinion it's about the same. There are slight differences in its delivery, but it's about as effective. Just my honest opinion.
