Way deep in my favourites folders, there's one called Earth Porn. I haven't added anything to it in years - since the app decided to alphabetize fav folders (instead of going chronologically by date created).
This belongs in there.

Haven't added anything in so long, because as a matter of coding, someone decided the cutoff to sort alphabetically, was 150(ish?) folders. Earth Porn is about my 21st folder, and still another 20ish from the "oldest" one now still visible.
Everything that I would like to place in these 40ish fav folders, goes in a "older - to be sorted" one. That I'll get to........ Someday.....

Is #1 Banff area? I think that is one of the most beautiful/stunning places i have ever been, and i have been snowboarding in Antarctica. Have been to that beach in Iceland as well, highly recommend. Besides the geological marvels, the waves are insane. Amazing collection, my friend!

It looks like a stretch of the Icefields Parkway. It's a stretch of road from Banff to Jasper national parks. But that's a pretty common view anywhere along the Alberta Rockies.

Know this that I am from the Philippines, I have seen all kinds of rock as I was touring with Phivolcs once, our nature is beautiful, rainforests, rivers, Rocky or Sandy beaches, everything is beautiful, I live in beautiful country, but HOLY SHIT I refuse to die before seeing Reynisfjara. I know how those rocks form, but I still couldn't believe such a thing exists, those rocks are too alien to look at

There is a spot near Lillooet BC that actually has this disorienting effect. You pop out of the mountains at the top of an absurdly deep canyon and look out over the tops of mountains similar to this.

Not quite. Right at the end of the video you can see a highway sign that has a Canada National Parks design. But there's no National Park in the Crowsnest. I'm 99% certain that's the Icefields Parkway up in Banff / Jasper NP. I ๐ต๐ฉ๐ช๐ฏ๐ฌ around the Saskatchewan River Crossing area.

I'm pretty sure it's Crowfoot Glacier on highway 93, south of Saskatchewan River Crossing (which is roughly halfway between Jasper and Banff). If that's Crowfoot Glacier, the the lake is Bow Lake.

Me too! It's maybe an hour and a half away for me (Calgary) and I'm out that way every other weekend during the summer, so I just kinda take it for granted. But at the same time, most of the others are like: "Whoa."
It's a reminder that the Icefields Parkway one? Probably comes across that way to other folks as well.

I lived in ร rhus for a year for school and I remember when the city was in a panic because a single moose swam over from Sweden. . .meanwhile if less than 5 tourists get mauled and eaten by bears here in Canada we are having a great year lol.

Even though I literally only just heard about this for the first time, I don't think it is. The Franks Slide mountain has more "slide" and less hard rock at the top than this one - and most importantly, this one overlooks a lake, whereas Franks Slide just overlooks its own slid-down rocks on a large flat valley floor. Also, Franks' doesn't seem to have any immediate neighbors.
