#12 - Went to a BK for the first time in probably decades about a year ago. Basically, they microwave a pre-cooked (probably cooked off-site) patty, add cold cheese and condiments/veg, and slap it in a box. I didn't have any other options at the time but it was not what you'd call enjoyable.

Thank you so much for sharing the story of the Greenbrier Ghost! I had never heard of it before and love ghost stories tied to old trials (particularly in the 18th and 19th centuries). Amazing that a plaque was placed to commemorate the unusual case, and the details of the incident itself were so wild (especially as details of her husband's violent past came to light, the remarks he made, and the extent of her injuries). Yikes!

From Wiki: She was his third wife, the first divorced him on account of "great cruelty" and the second died under "mysterious circumstances." Zona's autopsy discovered she had not died in childbirth, but her neck "was broken and the windpipe mashed. On the throat were the marks of fingers indicating that she had been choked. The neck was dislocated between the first and second vertebrae. The ligaments were torn and ruptured. The windpipe had been crushed at a point in front of the neck."
