I watched Monty Python’s The Meaning of Life in the theater with a buddy when it came out. He went to the bathroom just before the scene with the obnoxious restaurant customer who projectile vomits for something like five minutes straight. During that scene the audience laughs for a while but it eventually turns to silent horror as it goes on and on. So while the whole audience is quietly praying for the scene to end, my buddy comes back and starts laughing his head off. It was hilarious.
