That flower will kill your cat if it is eaten even the pollen

They screm! 😱

Beautiful, the two of them. How do you have a flowering amaryllis this time of year? Do they sell them year round in the US?

Total fluke. I got this a few years ago. I store it in my basement all summer and fall. Water it a few times. Then bring it out for a few months. But I neglected it for too long around the holidays and so it's only blooming now. I've thrown off its schedule.

Dude, I'm super impressed that you've managed to get an Amaryllis to bloom for several years!! All I've ever managed was leaves. But I never had anywhere cool to store it, so there's that. But that's awesome. And it's a white one, so it totally fits into spring, according to my arbitrary flower colors season rules.

Just be careful, those are still toxic to cats.

Yikes. Luckily he displays no interest in this or any plant in my home. Thanks for the heads up. (This is year three of this exact plant blooming in my home, so I'm sure PW has no interest.)

All it takes is one curious monch and near instant renal failure.

Well then I'm lucky he has expressed no interested in plants for the past 9 years.
